Dragonfly Singers

Our school choir, The Dragonfly Singers, is open to all interested singers in grades three through five. Students in grades one and two that would like to sing in a choir have the option to participate in the Junior Dragonfly Singers. The Dragonfly Singers rehearses on Monday afternoons, 2:15-3:05 PM in the music room. Our primary focus is the development of singing skill at a more advanced level, with emphasis placed on personal musicianship, music literacy, and vocal technique. We sing a variety of songs and rounds from different cultures, musical styles, and historical periods. This ensemble participates in twice yearly school concerts as well as community and district-wide concerts.

An update letter about the upcoming choir & strings concert has been posted under letters home & documents. Please see this letter for more information about the performance. It also contains information on how to get on the parent email list.
