Junior Dragonfly Singers

The Junior Dragonfly Singers, is open to all interested singers in grades one and two. For many, this is the student's first chance to participate in an organized musical ensemble. When these young singers reach the third grade, they may graduate to the Dragonfly Singers. The Junior Dragonfly Singers is taught by Mr. Wilkins and Ms. Long.

The Junior Dragonfly Singers rehearses on Thursday afternoons, 2:15-3:05 PM in the music room. Our primary focus is the development of singing skill, with emphasis placed on personal musicianship, music literacy, and vocal technique. We sing a variety of songs and rounds from different cultures, musical styles, and historical periods. This ensemble participates in twice yearly school concerts as well as community and district-wide concerts.
